PCB TESTING AND DISPOSAL

The following is a description of the procedures used in our shop. If the unit is a later model, 1990 thru present, no oil sample is taken. An oil sample is taken from all other units and sent to PPM TESTING for a PCB gas test. If the results received are >49 PPM the unit will be sent to TCI Alabama for disposal of the oil and carcass. You will then be sent a Certificate of Destruction on the unit destroyed.
